The Casagrande C6T XP-2 is a crawler drill designed for the added complications of drilling in a tunnel. A specially designed Patented "forepoling" mast allows the machine to approach the drilling surface from the front in arc, with horizontal reach drilling up to 6m from ground level and maximum incline drilling at 25 degrees, the C6T XP-2 is ideal for drilling and grouting a headed tunnel face. Powered a Diesel engine for positioning and tracking, and an AC electric power plant for drilling operations, the machine has very little exhaust emissions.

The XP-2 series uses hydraulic and electronic systems that directly control the hydraulic pumps to achieve efficient, precise and rapid results.

The fleet can be managed remotely via an online platform by PC, tablet or smartphone.

Operators benefit from automation of drilling functions, making the rigs user-friendly with complete control of the drilling process.

The Smart Power Management (SPM) system improves performances and productivity of the machinery.

The radio remote control is ergonomically designed with reduced weight and dimensions for user comfort.

The layout of the machine and the wide openings of the canopy offer comfortable and easy access for inspection and maintenance.

Rigs are powered by the latest generation Stage V diesel engine with reduced exhaust emissions and use of low sulfuric content fuels.
