What owners say about Hitachi

Reviews, questions and photos from people who run the machines

We moderate reviews before they're published, but we don't fact-check them

Reviews are written by equipment owners and operators. Our team looks over each review before it goes live, and anyone can report a review they think breaks the rules.

We don't verify the claims made in reviews, so each one reflects the reviewer's own experience. Some reviews may have been collected from other public sources. Brands can reply to reviews but can't edit or remove them.

Excellent Operating Cost Savings

Our previous 700-ton machine was a drain. The EX8000's fuel consumption is noticeably lower, and wear parts last significantly longer.

Critical Support for Production

Downtime was crippling our overburden removal targets. Hitachi's local team quickly sourced a critical hydraulic pump last month, getting us back online in under 48 hours.

Daily checks are simple

Our previous 3000-class excavator was a nightmare for routine maintenance. The EX3500's ground-level access for fluid checks and filters is excellent.

Robust for heavy digging

When we hit that granite seam last month, the EX3500 just powered through. The structural integrity of the boom and bucket linkage is impressive.
